Cask-conditioned at the Dragon Inn, Worcester, 30/05/09. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Earthy malt aroma with a hint of butter and grassy hop. Sweet malt flavour, with the sulphur others mention and some decent hopping in the finish. Ok.

The Dragon Inn, Worcester. Pale and yellowy. Inviting geranium waft of green. Germanic herbally hops and grass. Bit dank and earthy, but good gentle citrus and conifer notes. Little bit mealy and sweet in the finish, with vanilla and popcorn afters. Undemanding tasty sessions.

Served on cask - Dragon Inn, Worcester. Noticeably pale yellow, session strength. No especial aroma, slightly citrussy flavour that was not overtly bitter. Acceptable session ale, pleasant enough for a pint or two.

Cask Conditioned, at the GBBF, 2004. Pale yellow with a boisterous fluffy white head. Aniseed flavour with wet-straw or hay characteristics on both the aroma and flavour. Grassy.

This is a pale straw coloured session bitter. Neutral aroma with just a touch of honey and some grassy hops. There is quite a lot of autumnal malt, to go with some citric notes, in the flavour. Finishes dry, medium length. I prefer a bit less malt, and a touch more bitterness, in a session bitter. Others would say it is well balanced. A matter of taste , I suppose. Worthy, but I found it a bit dull. Cask, GBBF 2004, day 1.

Cask Conditioned at Hook Norton Beer Festival 04. Orange gold with bubbly head. The beer of the festival for me, close to a perfect session bitter, Crisp, dry and hoppy with a softish citrus note, closer to orange. Well balanced malt background, excellent.
