God damn brewpubs and their lemons! Creamy beer, not much flavor, not much to write home about.

Light ale with a smattering of honey to add to the flavor. This was dry with some fruit flavors. Very light and refreshing. Good hot day beer.

On draught at the brewpub in downtown Victoria, BC. I remembered to inform the bartender to hold the lemon slice. Pours a semi-clear golden pale blonde brew with a thick and lumpy white head that has some nice retention and excellent lacing. Aroma of light white grain malt with wheat, a touch of tropical fruit and a little citrus zest. Taste is light bodied, light carbonation with flavors of white bread, a touch of yeast, some light pear characters - but not much. Finish is semi-dry with a short lived mild bitterness after the finish. Another fine solid summer ale.

on tap-pours a retaining white head and hazy pale yellow/yellow color. Aroma is sweet light malt/wheat, grassy. Taste is sweet light malt, secondary grassy.

7/14/07 On draught at the brewery. Aroma is very bready, yeasty, with some citrus and no phenols. Appearance is a hazy yellow with a good white head. Flavor is sour/sweet/wheat/yeast blended together extremely well but a little bit light in intensity. Mouthfeel is light bodied with a low carb texture. Overall, I just love the balance of this one; it’s very easy drinking.

A light an inoffensive ale. Citrus and grassiness. Refreshing to drink on the patio.

Sample at the brewpub. Served with a quickly discarded lemon slice. Rich head. Hazy more than cloudy. Sharp citrus up front. Not much honey which is not a bad thing. Enjoyable and refreshing in the sun.

Cloudy dark straw. Crisp, wheaty light aroma. Bland, light character with hints of wheat and citrus. Functional but yeah, way boring. I don’t even get what the point of this beer might be.

it kills me they call these wheat beers, they are more of an amber or something else. then they serve it with a lemon. sweet flavors and the sourness of a lemon doesnt go together at all.

(Draught) Sampled a glass at thebrewpub on August 8,2006. Pours a near headless, mildly carbonated gold body. Really no sense of ALE here... nor WHEAT. It tasted like a Honey Lager. Fairly light and mildly flavoured but nice ona cool Victoria afternoon.

Clear and gold colored. Sour grainy nose with scents of starchy wood, sweaty honey and some corn. Oily, grainy corn flavor and a lack of anything resembling wheat or honey. The texture is a bit frothy, which is enjoyable, but this beer suffers from mediocrity.
