From the 650 ml. bottle. The pour is a bit darker than I anticipated which was a pleasant surprise. An amber-copper color with a long-lasting off-white head that stays around until the end. The aroma is of floral and piney hops with a more mellow, subtle malt character. But neither overpowers the other. The body is medium. The taste brings forward the hops, as it should for an IPA, but to the point of being pungent and overly bitter. I actually like the way this is put together.

Pours a medium copper color with a huge creamy off white head that slowly recedes to moderate stickage. Smells of grapefruit, pine resin, and dankness, with a hints of bread and caramel and a very light earthy yeasty funk. The flavor is resinous pine with bits of citrus fruit and covering a sweet brown sugary bready malt base.Light fruity esters, a touch of alcohol, and a hint of earth. Light hop bitterness lingers long after each sip. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet resinous mouthfeel. Nice serviceable IPA, nothing earth shattering, but nothing too scary either.
