From plastic milk bottle@The Chriso Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011 "Donkey Dork Lord Edition". Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, earthy, grassy and a bit herbal. Flavour is quite much the same along with some mild caramel.

Milk jug version at Chriso’s, thanks to Ian. Golden, almost still, inviting citrus aroma. Dry, bitter flavor, a bit bland but nicely hoppy, citrus and a nice peppery finish.

Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011. Thoughtfully brought in milk containers by Ian. Pours clear, light gold. Has some toasty grain and straw on the nose. Light sweet flavor, toast, grainish. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dry, lightly leafy finish with mild toast. Nice, easy beer.

A Mes rate. At Chris O’s pre GBBF.
Clean gold no head. Good citric notes, nice bitterness. Really drinkable. Good straw notes in the finish. Straightforward but enjoyable.

Cask handpump at The Foundry Brewpub, Canterbury, Kent 16th July 2011, in company of Ian and the jolly nice brewer Tom? who gave us a tour and chat about the brewery. Clear dark gold/light amber. Earthy (Ian notes) minerally, flinty quite unusual. Really nice beer with a middling thrusty bitterness, nice sweetness. Some banana, it’s interesting and very likeable, some hops showing late on and there is a bitter finish. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
