Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-golden with a small white head. Aroma is sour and sweetish. Flavour is dry, sour and with brett. Dry finish, lingering sourness as well as bitterness. Okay, but a bit too sour for me. 26-09-09.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Crosling (1861) - Loveland, Colorado, USA - OCT 18, 2008
Very light golden orange color with a small, white head. Aroma smells of traditional Cantillon lambic with a very, very light added hint of cognac. Flavor is aged, well blended lambic with just the slightest note of cognac. Lacking the softness I would prefer and mainly just harsh, oude gueuze. A bit off balance and with out cognac character.

UPDATED: MAR 23, 2008 Bottle. Hazy golden colour with nearly no head. Aroma of wood, sourness and oak. Flavour of oak, alcohol and little acidity, hard to find any cagnac at all.

20th July 2009 Hazy gold beer. Sour and lemony but not out of control. The subtlest touch of cognac and oak peeping through. Just another overrated sour beer but at least drinkable.

Cloudy yellow orange with no head. Sour funky smell. Flavor is tart and sour and seemingly not very balanced. Low carbonation and thin and waty. Seems a bit underdeveloped.

750ml Bottle: Sweet and sour aroma. Smells of sour mix, funk, and cherries. Poured orange amber in color with a small, extremely dense, creamy, off-white head that slowly disappeared. Cloudy. Sparkling. Flavor is bad; sour. Tastes of sour mix, cherries, and cognac. Acidic. Light to medium body. Thin, watery texture. Soft to average carbonation. Sour, cognac finish. Eww.
