Bottle via marsiblursi, huge thanks for throwing that in!! Pours a cloudy reddish/purple color with a decent sized pink colored head. Aroma is funky, oak, blueberry, plum, acidic. Flavor is bluebeery, citrus, oak, barnyard, grass, acidic. palate is medium to light bodied, mediumcarbonstion, finished massively tart and resreshing. Lip puckering. This was absolutely amazing!!

Jul 13, 2008 I have finally tried this beer, but that was a huge disapointment. I cannot understand why it is rated so high. The aroma is sour and full of berries. It looks like wine with a small head. Flavor is very sour not good, but it also has a lot of berry taste and a sweet aftertaste.

Jul 11, 2008 Bottle. Deep red colour with a pink head. Aroma is oak, blueberry, yeast. Flavour is oak, yeast, blueberry, citrus. Nice body. Pleasent wonderful beer.

Light unclear medium to dark red color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, light red head. Aroma is blueberries - berry sour - tart, wood, horse blanket - barnyard, acdic. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft - lively. It is awesome .. very very nice and complex and again easy to drink and very refreshing... ;o)) (050708)

Jul 2, 2008 Bottle at Pre GBBF shindig at Chris_o’s. Not sure what happened to my rating of this one, I’m sure I put it on before. Anyway, as I’ve said many times before, I am not Cantillon’s biggest fan as I don’t always find their beers very drinkable due to the higher acidity than in some of the other lambics. However, some of them are good and I have Jeppe and he is a great guy, so it’s great that he got the chance to brew something there. For me the overriding aroma was very farmyardy, especially smelling it straight from the bottle. The fruit then comes through in the glass. But for me the acidity is too overpowering for my palate. Decent fruit though.
