Commercial Description:
A blueberry lambic brewed with Danish blueberries exclusively for Ølbutikken, Copenhagen, Denmark.

There are two different vintages available that, because of the length of time the berries soaked in the beer, have turned out rather differently:

2005: The berries soaked in the beer too long leaving an almost vinegarish lambic with the well-known Cantillon tartness. The color is hazy orange. Will be sold in extremely limited quantity.

2007: A more fruity and not as tart lambic as the 2005 vintage. Beautiful deep red colored.

A picture report of the making of the 2007 batch can be seen here: http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=2095147806

Bottle 75cl. @ home.
[ My Rating #4000 ].. After drinking so many bottles of this very very nice beer I manage also to make a rating of it ..
Light unclear medium to dark red color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, light red head. Aroma is blueberries - berry sour - tart, wood, horse blanket - barnyard, acdic. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft - lively. It is awesome .. very very nice and complex and again easy to drink and very refreshing... ;o)) (050708)

Thanks to Papsoe for sending and pepsican for sharing! 750ml bottle. Batch 2, vintage 2007. Poured a murky purple-orange color with a pinkish head. Lots of yeasty bread dough in the aroma accopanied by light blueberry and an occasional whiff of formaldehyde. Odd, but true. Medium bodied with moderate to high acidity. Again, very pleasant yeasty/dought flavor with an intensely acidic, mouthwatering unripe blueberry accent. I also got some funk and a hint of sulfur. A wild ride, literally and figuratively.

Papsoe, seriously thank you for this. Hazy red pour with a reddish white head. Tart blueberry and oak aroma. Flavor is very similar, mildly dusty and good god is that sour. Very tart finish with just a touch of sweetness that..."balances(?)" it out. This was batch 2 from 2007.

Bottle sampled at RBSG ’08. Pours with a slightly cloudy, rose body topped by a thin to medium thick head with some lacing. It’s sour and tart with nice underlying blueberry that adds some sweetness. Light bodied, crisp and dry.

very small sample unfortunately...nose was nice, cheesey, with hints of the blueberry.. the beer was cloudy like shaken blueberry juice... sour and dry, and remarkedbly smooth flavors...dryness galore...and hints of blueberry...this is so nicely dry and i love it! sourness is strong....fucking a
