JK (2392), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA Oct 6, 2007 Updated: Dec 26, 2007 A rarity shared by the always generous Brewfiend. How the heck did you get this Brad? It pours a dark red color. Aroma of light fruit, yeast, and barnyard with some mold. Flavor combines all of those qualities with an incredible sour flavor. Very smooth. Some carbonation. Truly a work of art and I feel lucky to try it.
Odeed (1473), Bakersfield, California, USA Aug 8, 2008 sample at rbsg.im not sure which vintage.honestly i could not pickup much blueberry in the aroma or flavor.i picked up some fruit type qualities, but really it was just very sour and very dry. Vac (2231), San Diego, California, USA Aug 5, 2008 Bottle sampled at RBSG ’08. Pours with a slightly cloudy, rose body topped by a thin to medium thick head with some lacing. It’s sour and tart with nice underlying blueberry that adds some sweetness. Light bodied, crisp and dry. DaSilky1 (1591), San Diego, California, USA Aug 1, 2008 very small sample unfortunately...nose was nice, cheesey, with hints of the blueberry.. the beer was cloudy like shaken blueberry juice... sour and dry, and remarkedbly smooth flavors...dryness galore...and hints of blueberry...this is so nicely dry and i love it! sourness is strong....fucking a uhre (231), Denmark Jul 13, 2008 Updated: Jul 27, 2008I have finally tried this beer, but that was a huge disapointment. I cannot understand why it is rated so high. The aroma is sour and full of berries. It looks like wine with a small head. Flavor is very sour not good, but it also has a lot of berry taste and a sweet aftertaste.
