750 ml bottle poured into a Cantillon glass thanks to Papso. 2012 batch. Pours a clear purple with a pink head of foam. The aroma has funky, dry, winey, bleu cheese, and berries. The taste is a little oxidized. Some cardboard and a bit of berry tartness. Light to medium body with medium to high carbonation.

Gedronken @borefts’13. Roze/paars kleurtje, niet helder en een witte schuimkraag. Ruikt fruitig, kersen, framboos. Smaakt muf, fruitig, kersen, framboos, zuur, jammer van het vieze nasmaakje.

2012 vintage 375 ML Pinkish purple color, no head at all. Maybe a little bit of a collar. Nose is vinegar, funk, and soft blueberries. Taste and feel are more about the vinegar, funk, blanket taste. Just slight amount of blueberries. Light bodied, high prickly carbonation. Grape sour tart really. nice but prefer other Cantillons are a bit more complex and easier to get. Great to try though

Bottle thanks to Sean! Thanks a ton. Pours reddish amber with little to no head. Aroma is blueberries with lots of funk. Taste is barnyard funk with hints of blueberries. Has a nice acidic finish. Glad I got to try this one!

2013 375ml bottle from Kamiel...can’t say thank you enough! Light ruby with a slightly pink white head. First waft is chardonnay with a nice farmhouse funk, very dry with wet but fresh blueberries (although more of the smell you get from the cardboard after you empty out the blueberries). Like the fact that the sourness is muted and that there is almost no acidity (and this caused my wife to pour most of this into my glass) and so this seems almost more like a good old 3F oude gueze. Interesting finish in that the farmhouse and funk keeps on growing along with the dryness. I was very excited to try this but wary considering how I usually feel about Cantillon - but this was amazing and definitely worth seeking out.

2010 vintage. Poured very hazy with a great ruby/purple color and small pinkish head. Some blueberries on the nose, musty, lots of funk. Initial sweetness from the blueberries up front, but quickly fades to a very nice sour and funk taste. Nice dry, lingering finish with a tart aftertaste. Big thanks to mtjoseph for chance to try this one.

Perfect pour. Cheese filled aroma. I really can’t describe more than that. No blueberry present. Blueberry is upfront but fades quickly. Slight acidity towards the finish.
