Bottle at fletchfighters tasting. Thanks guys! Pours orange with no head and no carbonation. Aroma is pretty sour, plenty of grape, apples and other fruit. Taste is quite sour with quite a bit of acidity. Pretty decent and well brewed just not sure these types of lambics are my thing.

Draught @ Gastropub Tuulensuu as ”Cantillon Lambic”. Rated on 30.04.2009
Aroma is sourish with earthy notes, some lactic acid and hints of citrus. Flavour has grapefruit, some lactic acid, earthy notes, hints of citrus and orange. Good, one of the best unblendeds.

All’olfatto note citriche, limone, acidità, formaggio, che riscontriamo al palato, con una acidità marcata, ancora citrico. Armonico ed equilibrato.

750ml bottle purchased at west Lakevieq liquors. 2012 vintage... Releasing the cork yields a small pop and hiss following. The liquid itself is a hazy orangey brown consistency without any remnants or sign of head. Swirling reveals some legginess with light bubbles formulating but quickly disappearing... Aroma ideas sharp grape and acidic qualities with touches of wood and a modicum of must. Sour in a sense while exhibiting your must’vesic straight lambic essence at its core... Flavors display a continuation of the same with sharp tart grapes and oak focus with a mild degree of subtle bitterness working its way into the equation late. Lacking vibrancy and punch as a whole due to the lack of carbonation. More wood surfaces in the finish as well. Medium bodied overall with an almost absent level of carbonation, still and without life although the flavor profile is rather inviting and tasty. One of my least favorite anthill on offerings but somewhat expected given its nature.

750 ml bottle to snifter (shared with the group; from notes). Looks good; a fairly transparent golden-orange with thin lacing. Smells solid; more tart than sour. White grapes, oak, apricot, barnyard funk, and a touch of apple. Tastes solid too; much like it smells with lots of oak and mild acidity. Solid on the palate, but could use some more carbonation. Good, but not one of Cantillon’s best.

From a 75 cl bottle shared at Meridian Pint, DC. Pours a hazy gold with almost no head. Funky aroma. Bandaids and sour fruit. Tart finish.
