Not too sour, pretty balanced, but on the watery side. (for 2013 edition). But then again, sours are not my preference.

Bottle split two ways. Pour is copper and completely flat. Lots of funk, cheese, mushrooms, leather, lemon juice and some grains. Solid.

February 20, 2015. Bottle at home, 2014 vintage.
Light hazy orange with some white bubbles quickly dissipating. Aroma is funk, tart green apples, barnyard and lemon. Taste is sweet and tart apples up front, some lemon acidity and funk. Finish is light dry woody and tart, some funky notes. Smooth, flat, medium mouthfeel.

(Cantillon Bruocsella 1900 Grand Cru) Bottle 750 ml, served into a Cantillon tumbler, ABV 5% Golden orange colour on the body, a bit hazy, no actual head, just some bubbles forming, laving a thin line around the glass after they pop. Nice aroma, wine notes, sour apples, some wood Nice taste too, basically follows the aroma, quite sour but not as much as I expected, well balanced. Tart and dry on the palate, medium thin body, low carbonation. Tasty.

750 ml bottle shared by Cuso. Thanks!
Orange, hazy body, with no head.
Acidic aroma with funk, sour fruits, like green apples, dough, some pepper.
Sour, tart taste, with about the same aromas, also salty and overall with a very well balance.
Quite light mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes sour, tart, salty.

Very good! Quite raw, but still with a great balance. Pretty complex of course. Overall enjoyed this a lot, but not the best Cantillon I’ve had.

Yellow and hazy pour, absolutely no head. Funky toes, blue cheese /barnyard aroma. Oily on the tongue and flat. Taste follows suite, that barnyard funk, only slighty tart. Probably a good example of an unblended lambic beer. Probably not the most score shattering loon but it has its place on the sun too

Bottle. Aroma medicinal brett, light bubblegun, very light fruity, peach maybe. Hazy orange colour. Rather flat. Taste initially shocks, but mellows with second sip. Soft bretty medicinal notes, fruity, rather tart than sour. Peach. Quite good, but there are better.
