Foffern (1248) - Bodø, NORWAY - JUN 1, 2014
Bottle at home. 2007 edition. The colour is cloudy deep orange with no head. Aroma of horse blanket, rowan berries, lime, forest floor and oak. Has a sour flavour but less than expected, and with tones of more horse, apple cider vinegar and pepper. The mouth feel is flat and silky, and has a light bitterness. An interesting beer experience, and the beer feels surprisingly round and easy drinking for a unblended lambic.

UXO (223) - CANADA - MAY 19, 2014
Pours a slightly hazy medium gold with no head despite an aggressive pour. Nose is oaky barnyard funk, white wine, apple cider vinegar. Taste is lemon, apples or pears, vinegar, woody funk. Mouth feel is medium to light and utterly flat, finishing bone dry with lingering sourness. This takes a bit of getting used to, particularly with the utter lack of carbonation. The flavour does open up significantly the more it warms up, and the sourness builds and lingers.

ElManana (250) - Scheldewindeke, BELGIUM - MAY 17, 2014
1999 vintage: Pale golden coloured. Crystal clear. Acidic nose. Very tart, cask character, some salt. Complex like a fine whiskey. Very sour.

Bottle @ Akkurat. Probably one of the Cantillons I like the least but prefer to drink a lot of the most. Very easy drinking with lots of barnyard and lemon, very clean flavors and an easy-to-like sourness which makes it suitable for those that just found the world of lambic. Finishes off dry with a white whine feeling due to the light body.
