Moderately acidic nose, bringing out notes of mild vinegar, white grape skins, peach fruits, and hints of
grapefruit. Beneath the fruit and brighter acid lies some funky oak dryness, peppery spice, and mild aged cheese.
Light bodied, lightly carbonated mouthfeel with a bold acidity. Plenty sour, along with some more cheesy funk
and peppery spice. A bright, fruity acidity dominates the flavor before leaving behind an exceptionally long, dry
finish. Good, but not nearly as complex or deep as some of the other Cantillon goodies. doubleo (1104), San Diego, California, USA

Pours cloudy orange/yellow with a thin, crisp white headhead, bits of lace. Smell is subdued, slightly funky and touich sour. Tastes like fruit and flowers and then barnyard funkiness. Sour throughout, the funk mellows on the finish and fades to plain ole sournicity. Medium body, vibrant carbonation. wetherel (1591), Encinitas, California, USA

Tart aroma, but not crazy sour, classic Cantillon funk, herbs, slight sweet even. Smooth, even taste - mild tartness spread throughout the palate, nice and dusty and citric. Velvety and elegant. | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 5, 2008 Gumby, you are a baller. This rarity poured a very hazy, light orange, perhaps apricot color. The aroma is amazing, grapefruits, lemons, summer stone fruits, meadow flowers, and yes, that Cantillon funk. The flavor is more than I expected, bringing me back to my childhood, beckoning a memory of grapefruit gummy candies. An amazing balance seems to be found between the sweet and tart, the earthy and the funky. Absolutely world class. mgumby10 (1850), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 3, 2008 Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small white head. Alot of typical Cantillon sour funk and sweetened fruits show up in the nose. Not overbearing sourness though. The flavor had some typical cheek puckering sour tartness to it, along with some sweet fruits, grapes, and Chardonnay. Lemons seem to be always noticeable here as well. I got a touch of the hops in this beer, but it was certainly overpowered by the funk and sour that embodies this brewery. Another great offering.
