4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
750ml Bottle pours a hazy golden color. A lot of froth if not poured slowly. Poured at fridge temperature although recommended at cellar temperature. Strong sourness and mild apricots. The sourness mellowed as it warmed and balanced well against the apricot.

Wonderful apricot smell. Not too overpowering just perfect. Beautiful sour base, then wonderful apricot flavors. Not stale apricot but very ripe apricots. Great use of the natural fermentation almost cask like.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
what a brew...I opened it a week after I bought it so its really fresh. The pour is a murky, muddy orange with a shimmering head that fills the glass like a fine champagne. The nose is musty and farmhouse noted with big juicy apricot notes as well as a generally heavy acetic undertone. Big musty and dusty barrel notes with solid acetic and sour notes in the late middle blend well with soft sweetness and fruit flavour. Quite acidic and sour overall but put in balance by the fruit sweetness. overall, one of the best beers to touch my lips.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a cloudy straw orange with an enthusiastic fizzy white champagne head diminishing rapidly to a thin white cap and no lacing. Nose is initially barnyard and sour apple cider, but lemon, stone fruit - yes, apricot - and a little vinous oak come through as it warms. Taste is juicy stone fruit just sweet enough to balance out the malt vinegar sourness. Mouth feel is light with sustained carbonation, with a lingering dry puckered finish.
This is an extremely well-done fruit lambic. The flavours are integrated, with none of the artificial cough syrup characteristic sometimes found in other lambics or krieks. Very even-tempered and extremely drinkable. If it weren’t for the price, I’d call this a well-nigh perfect beer.
