(sample from bottle, thanks Blade86) Yellow, very hazy, untransparent colour. Small white head, rapidly reduced to foam. Soft carbonation, light body, watery a bit oily texture. Aroma is moderate sweet with Strong notes of apricots, medium strong aromas of brettanomyces and white wine, soft wood. In taste, very sour, a bit tart with notes of apricot. Finish is medium long, tart with soft notes of oak

Draft. Musty yeast, apricot, malt and straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Sweet-tart apricot, malt and typical Cantillon musty flavor. Nice body. As if CBS wasn’t enough, got to try this today as well.

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2015 75cl bottle, 2014 (aug) vintage, shared by oldmanriver at his forced potluck post-Nikolaus tasting 12/2014. Fresh bottle radiating with what the fruit harvest had to offer: A cubist framing of all fruity and fresh fleshy aspects of apricot, carried by a dry & funky sour Cantillon frame: peel, flesh and pit represented in a brew so perfect and simple it becomes synonymous with unrelenting tradition, this Rhenian side of Franconia. - Will revisit aged.

Une des plus acides. Légèrement huileuse. nez abricot et acidité. Le côté lambic de cantillon est relativement mis de côté par les abricots. Des touches de fruits type pêche également. Trop acide, passez de goût de lambic.

Bottle shared with Richthevillan, cheers Rich for this top beer. Slightly hazy amber beer with large head. Aroma of apricots and some lambic notes. Taste is fruity sherbet, apricots, some cheese, light lambic action and zesty. Palate is a little chalky and a touch of oil. Excellent.

Vintage 2013, vieillit 1 an. Très sour, bien acidulée et le goût de l’abricot est parfaitement équilibré avec les saveurs. Amertume très courte.

Most kindly shared by Oldmanriver and with bartlebier and Bierle. Aromas of ripe apricots, oak and vanilla, mingled with a tender tartness. The taste is even more complex, something so rare. Bringing on an apricot universe, zooming into all stages of an apricot’s beautiful and simple life, from almost still green with this blackthorny sourness via its juicy, sweet and mouthwatering sourish heyday over to the near jam-like overripe stage with tartness being softened by the onset of mildly decomposing spots. Wonderful!

Pours a lightly clouded yellow gold with light fluffy white head. Aroma is apricot heavy, must, light lacto, orange, farmhouse, peach. Flavor is apricot city, med sour, fairly tart, dry.. Very fruity. This is an extremely beautiful beer.
