Poured into a taster glass showing an apricot tan and deep dark yellow with a half a finger of clean white foam. Sweet ripe apricots with heavy notes of brett on the nose. Medium bodied, strong tartness, apricot flavor appears on the beginning & finish with a strong fruit overlay on the tartness and a high carbonation.

Bottle from Mi Orge Mi Houblon, Arlon, Belgium!
Pours pale yellow with tiny head. Smell has sour lambic notes as well as some sweet fruity notes. Starts very sourish, with lots of brett and some acidic fruit notes. Finish is extremely acidic with notes of apple, apricot and lots of brett!

Bottle at the brewery. Pours a hazy amber colour with a clean white head. Superb apricot aroma. Flavour is complex, with the traditional incredibly well-balanced Cantillon tartness competing with the richer sugary apricot flavours. Fine carbonation. Very tasty.

Bottle from BD ShepBush, drank at home. Pours slightly hazy deep gold, fizzy head rises and dies almost instantly. Nose of luscious juicy apricot stone fruit, big bretty funk, sour cheese, lemony citrus acidity. Tastes almost 100% dry, pretty full-on sourness, more juicy sharp apricots, natural yoghurt, lemony acidity, brett funk, buttery oak. Light body, creamyish mouthfeel, medium prickly carb, super-long sour finish with all the cheesy juicy funky elements all mingled. As expected this is superb.

Hazy golden/orange color with small white head. Hugh aroma of apricot. Smells wonderful. Taste is very sour but with a perfect balance between the harsh sourness and the fruityness from the apricot. A really, really good lambic.

750ml bottle from beermerchants.com. Hazy orange amber colour with a foamy white head and aroma of apricot fruity, citric sour, slight barnyard. Taste is sour, citrus rind, hint of apricot, with yeasty & woody barnyard notes. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying sour finish. Lovely stuff, very drinkable.

Another great lambic from Cantillon. Great orange colour, well balanced carbonisation, nice lambic/fruity nose. Taste is obviously quite sour, a bit disappointed on the apricot taste which is very light, not very obvious. I still prefer their Kriek, but clearly a good one...
