Poured from a bottle thanks to nightfall. Youíre awesome! Pours a hazy gold with a white head of foam with good retention. The aroma is heavily tart with some definitive fruity aspects. Taste is fairly sour. Mouthfeel is thick and a little chewy. This beer kicks ass. I love it.

í14 Bottle poured into this Cantillon glass - Itís a nice hazy gold, with a one fingered white head that actually retains well. Weíre starting off on the right foot already. Temperature was perhaps in the middle of where it needed to be - but I slow drank this one until it moved into the ideal threshold, and thatís where it really revealed its depth and complexity. Apricot pits to start this one off , mixed with lactic. Typical lambic funk is modest here, but it is here. White pepper, juice, and grass notes round off the nose. The flavor profile was jarring initially, but we got the palate lined up where it needed to be for this one very quickly. Itís musty, dank grasses, light lactic, with a well rounded tartness present. White pepper, earthy oak presence, and apricot juice and skins moving forward to lemon zest. The flavor profile is complex and deep, and near perfect at the proper temp. 2014 is a winner in my book and it was the winner of Melís í15 Mini Apricot Tasting.

2014 bottle at home from brewberry Paris
hazy amber, no head, moderate carbonation, full bodied, slight Dusty fruit but overwhelming lemony citric sourness. Left overnight in the fridge carbonation subsides and a bit more apricot earthiness comes through but tartness still prevalent. Perhaps needed more age on it but disappointing VS the hype.

Tap@Mikkeller & Friends, Copenhagen - (2012 Vintage) fuzzy burnished gold coloured pour with white head. Aroma and taste is prominent apricot, with some citric lemony notes, sour fruity, with some floral notes, high carbonation, nice mouthfeel with a dry finish. Very nice indeed.

(Cantillon Fouí Foune ) Bottle 750 ml at home, served into a Cantillon taster, ABV 5% Bright orange colour on a mostly clear body, more cloudy on next pours, big white head, thin and fizzy, collapsing fast, leaving a thin line of foam around the glass. Aroma has plenty of apricots, not very strong aroma but you can find a wide variety of apricots, peel, ripe flesh, unripe too, some floral notes. Nice taste, quite sour, musty, leaves, less apricot than I expected, floral notes. Medium body, good carbonation. Tart on the palate. Nice.

75cl bottle from 2014. Aroma is is very broad spectrum! Lots and lots of apricot peel and even rotten apricot. Musty, cheesy, ascetic acid with a lemon apricot aftertaste. Itís interesting to smell an almost empty glass, comparee to a freshly poured one. The latter offers a combination of co2, yeast and apricot peel/flesh. Slight pepper adds beautifully to the combination. In the end the apricot hints are isolated, which I find true craftmanship.

(bottle - 750 ml - 2013 vintage) Cloudy amber with a thin white head. Lightly fruity aroma that instantly goes tart and sour. Flavor is a sour bomb right in your face. Didnít get any apricot but I didnít care. Lots of amazing sour flavors.

Poured into a taster glass showing an apricot tan and deep dark yellow with a half a finger of clean white foam. Sweet ripe apricots with heavy notes of brett on the nose. Medium bodied, strong tartness, apricot flavor appears on the beginning & finish with a strong fruit overlay on the tartness and a high carbonation.
