3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
an unclear orange beer with a small head. The aroma is of sour milk. And so is the flavor, though combined with notes of peach. It has a very dry end. This is not my favorite fruit-lambic.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a hazy, pale amber with an almost completely absent head. Sourish, fruity nose. Medium body with a marked, vinegary sourness. Not too sure I can pick up the apricots though. Sour all the way through. 291006

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, small white sparkling head. Aroma is concentrated sourness along with wood and fruits. Flavour is very much the same with some slight fruity notes lurking behind the sourness. Dry to the extreme.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy orange colour with a small head.
Aroma of sour milk, abricots and unriped fruit.
Sour flavour dominated by unriped fruit with notes of abricots. Slightly bitter finish.
One of the first lambics I’ve had, and I’m not used to the sour flavour yet.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, Sweden.
Dark yellow, hazy, no head. Aroma of citric acid. Lightly fruity, mostlt sour. Firm maltiness, some apricot and syrup in the finish. But still - this is hardcore lambic, and just on the border of what my stomach can possibly accept.

Hazy golden color. Vinegar, mold, wood, cellar aroma. Harsh, astringent, woody; the fruitness is not easy to perceive.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JAN 28, 2012 Sample at Esbjerg Beerfestival. Small head with short duration. Color is hazy yellow. Aroma and taste are sour lactose acid, malt and fruits. Long sour finish. Rerated @ fonefan tasting, where we had a bottle from 2005 and a bottle from 2011. The beers were just totally different. The 2011 had lots of fresh apricot, was sweet and very easy drinkable whereas the 2005 bottle was dominated by sour brett, stable and leather. Both are great beers. Old rating 7/2/7/3/15. New rating 2011 7/3/8/4/15. New rating 2005 8/3/9/4/17.
