Thanks to BDR for sharing. 2002 vintage bottle, pours a cloudy, yellow-orange body with white head. Funky aroma with sour citrus character. Incredibly sour fruit flavor makes this a difficult beer to drink. Once you get used to it a bit, the apricot, lemon, and peach flavors start to come out a bit. Medium bodied, mouth-puckering mouthfeel. Acidy, citrus finish.

[Bottle--’02, thanks for sharing, BDR!] Pours very murky golden with a small white head. Aroma is very funky and sour with almost no fruit detectable. The taste is once again quite funky, and extremely sour--one of the most sour beers that I have ever tasted. This is then followed by a blast of apricot that really makes the beer. Medium mouthfeel with a fairly long, fruity finish. The smell was fairly average, but this was still an enjoyable lambic.

Thanks to BDR for sharing. Cloudy yellow/gold. Some carbonation. Sour aroma with apricot. Flavor is very sour, even for a Cantillon. Excellent. Full bodied, extremely flavorful and very sour.

Ratting 1800. Thanks me!!! 2002 vintage. Beautiful cloudy peach colored body. Huge barnyard funk on the nose - faint lactic character as well. Complex body with apricots blending in and out of a perfectly brett overridden bottle. Amazingly tart finish. Outstanding.

37,5cl. ’06 bottling. Hazy, light golden yellow with fizzy and small white head. Softly tart aroma, strong fresh apricots. Flavor is dry apricots, sharp citric tartness. Fresh fruity finish. Yeast adds slight wheaty note, and smoothens everything. Medium bodied, strongly carbonated, slightly tannic and dry palate. A bit easier one.

750mL bottle 2002. Cloudy orange yellow with a medium sized rocky white head. Musty aroma, acetic and apricoty. Tannic apricot with bretty horse flavors. Sharp acidity with a residual fruit note. Lingering apricot skin in the finish. Mouthfeel is light, rather dry.

Bottle. Creamy off-white but very quickly disappearing head. Hazy orange body with lots of yeast sediments. Oranges grapefruit acidic aroma. Powerful vinegar grapefruit not just acidic but in fact sharp and sour fruity flavor with low carbonation and a long aftertaste.

(3/11/08) Bottle at Delirium Cafe in Brussels. Bottled in 2006. Slightly hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of apricots, bretty funk and some citrus. Very dry sour flavor with some apricots and some lemon in the finish. Medium-bodied. Very good.
