stone sourfest. Cloudy orange with thick white head. Nose is apricots and light fruit, hints of tartness. Flavor is full-on peach lambic, somewhere between sliced apricots and apricot syrup, sweet tarts pop up in the middle, finishes dry. Smooth creamy texture with prickly carbonation. Delicious and quaffable, great sweet-sour mix on this lambic!

Might be one of the best beers i’ve ever had, i’d quite possibly punch my mom for another drank. A brilliant beer, very sour and tart, puckering at times, the apricot levels it out a little and gives it another dimension of flavor, drinking a 750 by myself would be well worth the impending ring sting.

On tap at the Blind Tiger. Pours a gorgeous deep apricot gold with a large white head. Lovely sweet apricots, fresh and delicious. Has that wonderful Cantillon funk with acid and vinegar notes popping through. Wonderfully tart, light vinegar over smooth apricots. Lingering acid and vinegar on the finish.

Bottle - 375ml. Beautiful hazy golden body with a thin white foamy head. Sharp, robust hoppy/fruity aroma with herbal and yeasty hints. Its strong taste carries apricot notes and ends with a long, sharp, dry, sour finish. Very good Lambic.

My bottle [750ml] shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- c/o JulianHuxley. Pours a cloudy yellow-gold with a large fizzy white head. Awesome aroma of funky yeast, sour fruit, lots of citrus and light spices. Flavour is quite tart and citrusy, dry and acidic -- delicious. Medium bodied. Fantastic, I loved it!

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2012 08 on draft at Capones late 2009.
A: Pale, hazy amber-orange body. Tight, compact head with decent retention before crashing into a spotty skim. Sporadic lacing left behind on the sides of the glasses.
S: Light, bright fruits. Apricots and peaches. Nice earthy tartness.
T: Reved up version of the nose. Potent tart apricots up front, sweet ripening peaches in the back end. Earthy, with a nice lactic punch.
M: Good weight to balance the semi-sweet/tart flavorings. A bit more slick than I’d like. Puckering feel lingers for a bit after each sip.
O: Pretty impressive offering from Cantillon. The flavor really carries the day despite some minor imperfections (if I am being critical) in the mouthfeel department.
4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Lenrick (11) - SWEDEN - JUN 16, 2010
Aroma is very typical Cantillon plus some fruity sweetness. Very nice and simple aroma. The taste is very sour, in a good way. Delightful, typical Cantillon flavors. Some unripe tropical fruits. Incredibly good. This beer is very exciting, has wonderful flavors and an intense acidity.

Shared with svoger and beerbiker at my bicycle weekend debut. Opened in the harbor after a hot ride which only made it better. Hazy orange look with a small white head. Classic Cantillon sour notes with underlying abricot. Heavy powerfull acidity, love it!
