Bottle at home, from my trusty old Mauydite gl;ass. Shared with Cole. Pours cloudy gold, 2-finger cream-coloured head, ropey lacing. Nose is apricot/peach, one of the first times I’ve really gotten the "intended" fruit character so strongly from a lambic. Notes of sweat, earth, funk and cheese, very nice balance between the fresh fruit and the funky lambic. Flavours of stonefruit, cheese, salt, funk, really nice tartness. Awesome brew!

Sparkling, pale yellow to orange and hazy beer with thin vanishing head. Sweet and fres apricot aroma with medium lactic acidity. Less apricoty flavor but they still give good fruitiness. Acidic, citrusy and tart flavor also had some red currant notes, well developed and dry woodiness. Mouthwatering, acidic palate is medium bodied and waxy/sticky.

75cl bottle @Kaisla 5.1.2012. Poured hazy golden with a thin head head. Barnyard, apples in the sour aroma. Flavor is very sour, barnyard notes, fruits and woody notes as well. Very dry. Another superb beer from Cantillon!

Pour from a bottle and just slight pop of carbonation as the bottle was opened.August 2011 vintage. Orange gold in color. Solid funky wild earthy aromas after the beer opened up a bit. The apricot flavor was solid and not way too apparent. No residual sweetness. Natural fruit flavor with additional peach and lemon.Very easy to drink. Tart sourness and no real acetic vinegar character. Really tasty.

Bottle dated 2008-08-25, shared by badnewsbeers. Murky apricot (fitting) orange-dirty brown body, thin ring of off-white carbonation. Sour nose, cobwebby with horseblanket and stomach acid, rather dry, also tart apricot pulp. The body hits with a nice sour punch with prominent meaty, full apricot flavors, the distinct apricot character a refreshing complement to the clinical sour, dry cobwebby character. Excellent beer, probably my favorite Cantillon.

Wow, great lambic. Lots of apricot sweetness, especially on the back end. A little yeasty too. Fantastic beer.

This poured a semi murky straw yellow color with a white head. Aroma was medium funk, tart apricot and some yeasty notes too. Flavor was more apricot sweetness than expected. Medium tartness and light funk. Very nice.

Had this at the 2011 Pittsburgh Ratebeer Christmas Eve Eve Tasting. Lithy, this beer ROCKS! Fortunately I was present when this was popped. Smells like any good canty and it looks a little cloudy and pale. Tate is yes, sour and a little soda pop apricot. Sizzling lovely lambic, the real beers of the beer styles. Puckering at times along with more sizzling tartness. What else can be said about this brew? Each sip is simply lovely real beer fruit lambic, the kind that is not overly sweet. What a really nifty chance at tasting beer! Thanks Justin, I owe you big time.
