an unclear orange beer with a small head. The aroma is of sour milk. And so is the flavor, though combined with notes of peach. It has a very dry end. This is not my favorite fruit-lambic.

Bottle from Styles. Opaque yellow-orange colored with a slight white head. Aroma is very sulfury, reminding me of what a hair shop on permanent day smells like. Light to medium bodied. Well carbonated. A bit sulfury in flavor but not enough to detract from the sour barny flavors. A touch of apricot shows through. Tart. Nice beer but the sulfur smell really detracts for me.

Quack-Duck (5921) - Down South, GERMANY - AUG 25, 2007
bottle, bottled in 2001. Cloudy orange colour, tiny head. Very sour indeed, which comes as now surprise however, flavours of apricot, slightly hoppy.

Bov (7354) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - DEC 16, 2002
cloudy orange colour, few head, very complex aroma (vinegar, floral, rhubarb and apricot), very sour and light acid with a very brutal dry finish - not an easy beer (like all from Cantillon) and not the best Cantillon.

Bottle: 2000 - #176 of 180. Cloudy light golden color with a moderate off white head and a touch of lace. Heavy aromas leading to te acidic brew that it is know to be. Touches of unripe fruit and rubber in the nose. Initial cobwebs and dust mixed with sour fruit. This can really clean the teeth. Dry and quenching to say te least in the finish. This is one of the roughest/toughest lambics out there. Small sips every few minutes seem to be the limit. Seems to peel the enamel off the teeth. Quite smooth and effervescent in feel. Long sour acidic finish. Heartburn in bottle. For me the fruit does not come out and the balance is off. I can appreciate the effort. The efforts here are more geared to creating the most sour brews, akin to the american most hoppy. Late lingers of mild hops and apricots do come out, but perhaps a touch to much suffering on the way.

pH=3. Decent aroma, light apricot notes, heavy gueuze yeast and wheat, with wet canvas or horse blanket. Hazy pale apricot amber-orange with no head. Medium body with heavy carbonation, carbonic burning. Extremely acidic throughout. Puckering tartness, almost beyond enjoyable. Typical Cantillon gueuze lambic profile with apricot notes throughout. The sourness of the apricots imparted even more sourness than usual, and I found this difficult to drink. Induced acid reflux.

75cl bottle at home, vintage 2005 shared with oj83. Once again thanks to Anker for this! This was a very sour lambic, burn the back of the throat sour. I found it to be just too intense for my liking, there was no balance unlike the fantastic blabaer we had before. The taste was apricot backed up by huge sourness. There was little funk and complexity. I love cantillon but this one was not for me.

Sampled on tap at Max’s Taphouse in Baltimore during Max’s Belgian fest. This was very forgettable next to the rest of the lineup. Hazy orange yellow. Sourish aroma that’s faintly fruity. Slight sour, tart flavor with some lemony fruit. Medium bodied. Sorta flat.
