After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity not wall adhesive light red foam collar which was fine and evenly of structure. The beer also contained no carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a clear red color and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is light hoppy bitter with a fruity touch. This beer smells to light acid.

Draught at TND 񢉖 Keg): Aroma of raspberry juice and a raspberry farm. Poured raspberry/magenta/ruby in color with a small, magenta, head that diminished but lasted throughout. Very hazy. Very sparkling. Flavor is medium to heavily tart and medium sweet. Tastes of raspberry, citric acid, and a hint of funk. Medium body. Dry, puckeringly tart texture. Lively carbonation. Lightly dry, tart, raspberry and slight funk finish.

On tap at Teresa’s Next Door, vintage 2006. Hazy rose with a slight white cap. Nose is raspberry jam and lemon yoghurt. Perfectly sweet and sour with mild funk. Crisp medium light with a sparkle. Taste is sour raspberry, lemon peel, unripe strawberry and mineral water. Wonderful balance with soft tartness.

Draft at Ebenezer’s. This was the ’06. Pours a vibrant pink/red with a pink bubble. Somewhat flat, but not that that is bad. Nose is like fresh raspberry jam and some light oak notes. I don’t get a ton of funk at all. This is a showcase of fresh raspberries, both in nose and taste. It is very tart, much like raspberries, with no sweetness. Finishes dry and I can almost taste the little seeds in there as well. Very interesting and different.

Tap at Ebeneezer Kezar. Looks like a strawberry daquiri, basically. Opaque pink, with bubbles and swirls and a ring of brighter pink for a head. Aroma is sour and tart, loads of raspberries, some earthy funk, wood, and vinegar. Flavour is very sour, like super sour candy. The same notes return, with the raspberries dominating, and the funky notes playing around in the aftertaste. Sparkly and refreshing, very dry finish.

’06 on tap at Ebenezers. Pinking garnet pour with minimal head. Tart raspberry aroma with barnyard and woody funk. Flavor is fruity with some vinegar notes, resounding of tart raspberry. Palate is smooth and caressing with low carbonation and a slippery finish.

’06 tasted on tap. Super pure raspberry fruit with subtle hints of earthiness. Bracing acidity. Definitely some serious room for improving with age, though it is super now. Wish I would have taken better notes.

Tasted at SWB’s Sour Fest along with 15 others. Pretty raspberry color with plenty of bubbles. This one was intensely sour, almost to the point of sour candy, honestly like a sweet tart on crack (but this was also beer #13). Slight vinegar, slight spice aromas. Obviously sour raspberry taste but a couple hints of grapefruit.
