4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 Gazza (726) - Worcester, - JUN 23, 2005
Bottle in One Pint Pub, Helsinki. I thought nothing could top the Argousier... until this beauty was poured!!! A hazy pale red colour with a striking fruity nose along with lemony wood. The flavour continues the same with a rich fruitiness perfectly balancing the Cantillon dry citric style and a long, fruity, dry and very sour finish. Absolutely superb.

Golden body with some yeast floaters. Small white head. Aroma of old attic, some mold and sour aroma. Very harsh. Really sour and a way too much for me. Too sour to notice those little flavour in lambic.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 afrantzell (39) - The Court of the Crimson King, California, USA - JUL 31, 2010
Bottled in 2002. Made for One Pint Pub in Helsinki, Finland.
This one’s made with redcurrants. The 375ml bottle pours copper with orange chunks. My nostrils pucker at the smell. Unbelievably tart red berries. Warily, I take a sip.
Sharp, tart, unripe berries, followed by sharp, sour lambic. My face implodes. After a few minutes of precarious sipping, the taste opens up and notes of cranberries and crabapples come through, along with some twigs and pebbles.
This is full bodied, even silky. It came close to being too tart and sour, but once it sits open for a while it becomes drinkable. An interesting lambic.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 thebeertourist (4060) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 10, 2009
Lambik brewed in 2002. Bottle at One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Hazy, red amber with a small froth. More mellow fruit and citrus lambik aroma- the fruit is better able to compete with the lambik. Redcurrant berry flavours blending well with the citrussy lambik, still very acidic. Probably the best redcurrant lambik in the world.
