COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The world's classic Gueuze. A blend of one, two, and three year-old lambics creates a second fermentation in the bottle. The champagne of Belgium. In contrast, the Lou Pepe Gueuze is a blend of three 2-year-old lambics.

Newer vintages are labeled "Organic Gueuze", "100% Lambic Bio" or "Classic Gueuze".

A lot of green apples, vinegar and a distinct sourness. I usually like cantillon alot, but this time i got a bit dissapointed. Its a bit to anonymous, don’t know if it was a bad bottle or what?

Some kind of lemon aroma with a little barnish hint. Clear with a adequate head. Sour with dry finisz. Very good example of Gueze.

Pours a slightly cloudy golden yellow color. Aroma and taste are nice sourness and a dry finish.

Aromat: końska derka, stajnia, mokre siano, drewno. Wspaniały. Wygląd: jasne złoto z piękną pianą. Smak: ogromnie wytrawne, ogromnie kwaśne, musujące, czuć wszystkie dzikie nuty świata, do tego lekką owocowość. Wspaniale pijalne i orzeźwiające.

Hazy and at the same time clear liquid, small head. Aroma is fresh and sour. Medium body, little carbonation. Taste is sweet, sour and soft.

Shared 12.7 oz. bottle poured to snifters, showing a cloudy, orangey straw color, with a modest, quickly diminishing layer of soft white, bubbly head foam, and light spots of lacing. The aroma’s intro was one of light yeast with a hint of cheese-like funk, then tartness & dryness, with esters as citrusy lemon, and a blend of green apple & pit fruit. Medium bodied, and highly effervescent, the taste continued with fruit notes as the nose, quite dry & citrusy, with lingering tartness. A flavorful gem enjoyed by all at our tasting session.
