The world's classic Gueuze. A blend of one, two, and three year-old lambics creates a second fermentation in the bottle. The champagne of Belgium. In contrast, the Lou Pepe Gueuze is a blend of three 2-year-old lambics.

Newer vintages are labeled "Organic Gueuze", "100% Lambic Bio" or "Classic Gueuze".

I’ve had this a bunch but first on 3.26.14. A 2013 bottle. This is great. Smell is tart and yeast and mold. Flavor is straight up tart baby diapers. Sold.

Corpo medio-leggero, mediamente carbonata, astringente, molto beverina.

Quite an interesting "beer." Father time has taken his toll on this beverage, but it’s remarkable to drink something this old. A little vinegary, but the horse blanket is still present. * Review of a 1978 bottle. It’s the same beer as the 2015 so this should work.

Taster from bottle. Pours a hazy pale brown color with little head. Light and easy going. Great balance of mild sourness and the malt.
