Bottle, with chili while the wife was out. Pours a hazy golden color with big pillowy white head. Aroma is musty up front. Some citrus in there and some sour notes. Taste is more musty with medium sour notes, hay and white wine. Overall, great as always with this one but 3F is better.

Bottle 375 ml, c&c, into a tulip. ABV 5% Pale orange golden colour on the body, with a small white head, froathy, with low retention, light lacing on the glass. Fruity aroma with peaches, sour too, some funk. Taste is sour, with grapes, sour apple juice, light wood, floral notes. Medium thin body with low carbonation, very tart. Overall nice gueuze, refreshing.

Bouteille d’août 2013. Orange voilée, effervescence faible, col blanc presque absent. Légèrement vineuse (vin blanc), notes acides de vinaigre, de pommes et de citron, plutôt sèche, légèrement boisée et un peu amère sur la fin. Doit aussi se goûter plus vieille.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with rapidly settling white head. Minimal to no lacing. Aroma is tart, acidic, buttery oak, fruity, apricot and peach, mild vinegar. Flavor is moderately tart up front, building slightly, big oak, buttery oak, dried peach and apricot, mild vinegar, mildly vinous with a lingering oaky, acidic finish. Soft to moderate carbonation, medium-light body, and moderately dry, astringent finish.

2/1/2013 bottle picked up last year and popped on a nice holiday weekends. Dry, earthy funk that you pretty much only get from the real deal. Beautiful in the glass like very few sours are. Not just sour but complex with subtle waves of flavor and funk that never say die ... there’s so much happening. This is a treat and hard to rate -- numbers don’t really tell the story.

Pours a transparent orange/yellow with a small white head. Tons of carbonation. Aroma: Lemons, super tart, super fruity. Lots of hay. Palate: Medium bodied, fizzy. Taste: Very tart, but not as tart as it smells. Slight sweetness there.

Review #100- 37.5cl bottle. Appearance is hazy, lots of carbonation, small fizzy white head, yellowy orange in colour. Big aroma, which you can smell from a mile off. Tangy, musty, straw, sweaty (in a good way), citrus zest, fruits, bit of pineapple, grapefruit, gooseberry. Taste- lots of fruity juciness, tangy, a bit tart, sourness, musty, a dry finish, plenty of vinous qualities, coats the mouth well. Impressive.

Bue en bouteille. L’acidité trop présente m’a fait détesté cette bière. Difficile à boire pour moi.

A- Pours a hazy sunset color with a nice, thick pillowy head. S- Sour, lemon, citrus, funk, orange. T- Bready and it hits like a train with an intense sourness up front. Lemon and citrus play a big part. M- Medium bodied with a good deal of carbonation. D- One of the best sours i’ve had to date. A great beer that I wouldn’t mind having again.
