750ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, foamy, half-way lasting, white head. Spicy and sourish aroma, a minimally peppery, spicy yeast touch, hints of mustard, also a floral note. Taste is sourish, lemon juice, vinegar, in the finish with a dry and astringent character.

Nice yellow colour
Aroma is quite strong, stronger than in other geuzes I’ve had. Tartness, funk, citrus, slight yeast at the end.
Taste is slightly sour at first but builds up and get more vinegary and citrusy at the end.
Dry mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Nice and refreshing!

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 3/17/2010. Pours slightly hazy golden amber color with a 2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Slight spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big tart green apple, lemon, pear, grape, clove, pepper, oak, leather, hay, grass, straw, funk, white vinegar, wheat, and earthy yeast spiciness. Fantastic aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast notes with a good amount of barrel presence; and good strength. Taste of big tart green apple, lemon, pear, grape, clove, oak, pepper, hay, grass, straw, leather, wheat, white vinegar, funk, and yeast earthiness. Moderate tart acidity on the finish; with lingering notes of tart light fruits, clove, oak, pepper, hay, grass, straw, wheat, white vinegar, funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast ester flavors; with a good amount of oak presence and zero cloying acidity on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a crisp and moderately acidic mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with no warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a world class Gueuze! All around incredible complexity and balance of flavors and aromas; and extremely smooth to sip on, even with the acidity. Completely amazing stuff as expected.

Okay...not a big gueuze fan there are only a few guezes i drunk that i kinda liked...and i’m lucky this is one of em.

Pours clear yellow with low head. Aroma is yeast, malts, citrus fruits and pine. Some berries and herbs. Flavor is sour. Herbs, pine, malts and some white wine. Swell!

Bottle pour clear yellow. Nose sour, Brett, some spice and breadiness. Taste tart, sour, lemon, hint of pineapple. Some sweetness on the back end.

Fantastic looking beer with a bright rusty golden colour with a fizzy white cap that dissipates right away. Aroma is tart and funky. Taste is very tart with a lasting sourness of green apple and lemon, but some soft pepper and oak too. Great geuze.

Aroma is a bit odd at first and a bright glowing yellow body. The first sip is sheer vinegarrish awesomeness but subsides into a mellow sourness with funked notes and heavy bitterness on the finish. Just exceptional
