greenhorn1 (357), Eugene, Oregon, USA May 8, 2008 12 oz bottle. Poured orange with a thin white head. Fruity, hints of vanilla past the yeasty odor. Flavor is sour, tart, fermented apples and woody. Very dry and felt a bit thin. I have only had a few beers of this style, so it is hard for me to give it a fair rating. Definitely not my favorite style, but still interesting.
