blklab2007 (498), Connecticut, USA Apr 20, 2008 750 bottle labeled classic gueuze capped and corked poured into a flute. color is a cider like amber with minimal carbonation and virtually nothing as far as head on the surface. aroma has sour fruit, spiced yeast, and fermented apples. flavor is definitely tart and dries out your whole tongue. nice wood flavors from the aging up against the tartness and bitters. finishes with a totally dry tongue that just makes you salivate and bitterness.

Aromas of sour citrus, horseblanket, light leather and a hint of vinegar. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a tart dry finish. Flavors of unsweetened white grapefruit, light leather and light funky barnyard with a crisp dry lingering tart finish.
