buzzoven (66), Japan May 8, 2008 Rosy peachy creamy golden colour...quite a nice mellow shade. Smell is of slight apricot and grass. Taste is clover, smashed apples, cider, slight tinge of oak and earth. Smooth, bitter, fizzy sourness at the tail end. A comforting beer on a spring night.
azlondon (455), Greater London, England Jun 30, 2008 Appearance: Cap&Cork. Light brown. Cloudy. No head, or a little bit.

Sorry, just not my type of beer... blipp (561), Grand Island, New York, USA Jun 24, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with an off white head. Aroma is sour and tart fruit, almost rhubarb-like. Medium body. Flavor is again a nice mix of sour and tart fruits like rhubarb and cherry. Sourness is never overdone, making this a very drinkable beer. robinvboyer (950), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Jun 22, 2008 great pour, almost clear, a touch hazy, with little to no head. great sour barnyard aroma. Flavour is sour, but notover powering, just right, and super drinkable. Some faint wheat notes, but i love how the sourness is always there,bt its subtle, and not over powering, excellent stuff. MrBunn (774), Western, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 8, 2008 750 ml bottle with a cork that tells me it was bottled in 2006. There is a bit of rust under the cap and blue mold on the top of the cork, but it looks like this is just local damage and the bottom of the cork is solid and clean. Appearance is a hazy amber with a fairly large head for a lambic (one finger or so) but it is ephimeral and dies down quickly. Aromas are funky and have a bit of a PineSol/cleaning product air to them. I’ve been jonesing for good lambic/gueze sourness lately, so this smells so darn good. Flavor is very tart with a bit of a lemon peel sourness to it and kind of a fizzy feel (although I’m not picking up that much carbonation, just feels like it has some.) Sour lemon, sour apples, grass, etc. Very lovely and just what the doctor ordered. BuckeyeSammy (318), New York City, New York, USA Jun 7, 2008 Tap at Brett fest at spuytin duvil in Brooklyn. Light fruits throughout. Not too tart, sour on the end of my palate. Thin mouthfeel.
