Bottle at RBWG. Big thanks to Beau for this one! It pours a clear golden color. The aroma is rather cheesy with some good funk and acid. The flavor is very cheesy and wine-like. Funky and extremely sour. No acetic vinegar or hot alcohol notes. A funky, cheesy mouth puckering masterpiece.

Bottle, thanks Beau! Light hazy orange liquid with medium white head. Aroma of mineral, apple skin, grain, lemon, wood and light grain. Taste is dry and medium to high sour with notes of lemon, mineral, raw sugar, oak and hay. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Great Gueuze.

7000th rating. Bottle thanks to Beau! Pours a cloudy orange with small frothy off white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong funk, apple, hay oak. Medium mouth, great funk, nice tartness, oak, really enjoyed this.

Bottle at RBWG 2016. Thanks to beau. Nose is a wonderful fruit bowl sour expression. Moderate lemon. Hazy deep yellow with a light white head. Some oxidation as it warms. Light skunk as well. Taste is like a limoncello and amazing with a light wood character and grate. Nice.

This bottle was offered by Beau SHN at RBWG. Thanks. Pours a cloudy yellow appearance with an off white head. Aroma has a bunch of cheese, lemon, oak, light barnyard. Aged Parmesan, quite sour, lemon, vanilla, tons of funk. Great in manner like Crianza.

750 ml bottle to taster (shared after the Ratebeer Best Awards). Looks good; a cloudy, geuzy golden orange with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells good too; funky, oaky, and cheesy with a bit of unaversive vinegar. Tastes like it smells with a pleasantly lactic medium-bodied mouthfeel. Some nice lemon citrus as well. Good stuff.

Bottle - Big funky notes. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Tons of petroleum and grapefruit with a painfully clean finish. Too clean, I want sooooo much more.

This beer has improved substantially since it was first released. At first, it was an expensive disappointment. But now, there’s horse blanket for days. I am looking forward to trying this again.
