Doppelganger (1001), Oxford, England Sep 15, 2007 GBBF, 2007. Not sure if this was cask or bottle. Someone just handed me a glass of it. (Thanks--whoever it was!) Copper, no head. Cinnamon, lemon, wool, mineral--very funky but such a fresh aroma! Vast tart waves, coating the mouth, puckering. But the sourness has a focus and intentionality to it that is very engaging. Leather, cinnamon, wool. Incredably refreshing. Enjoyit (1015), Vadum, Denmark Sep 2, 2007 Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation 07. Amber of color , no head. An aroma with notes of oak and grapefruit, no sweets. A sour flavor with notes of oak and citrus, no sweets and a dry finish bager (1812), Copenhagen N, Denmark Jul 13, 2007 Sampled at the brewery.
