Ungstrup (10789), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 13, 2004 An orange beer with no head. The aroma is very light but sour. The flavor is very sour of lemon, wood, and grapefruit. The end is very dry and woody. joergen (6130), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 3, 2007 Draught at weekend of spontanious fermentation.
Hazy amber coloured with no head.
Fruity aroma of wheat and wood with light acidic anotes.
Light acidic flavour of wood and fruits.
Tart finish. duff (5402), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Apr 24, 2006 At Cantillon Brewery, Brussels. No carbonation, great mouthfeel. Soft, very dry, with a juicy acidity. Tastes very fresh for a lambic. Citric acidity, covers every corner of the mouth. I could drink this all afternoon, one of the most drinkable lambics i’ve had. Hildigöltur (5049), København Ø, Denmark Jul 14, 2005 I have had this several times at the brewery straight from the wooden casks and kegged at GBBF. Naturally this varies a great deal from cask to cask, but I always enjoy quenching my thirst with it. Very complex and very refreshing with lots of grapefruit notes. I love unblended lambic. oh6gdx (4910), Vaasa, Finland Jun 5, 2007 Draught. Hazy orange colour, minor head. Aroma is smooth wood. Flavour is wood, some sourness and slight notes of sweet grass. A very "smooth" lambic by Cantillon. Was one of my favourite lambics tested at the weekend of spontaneous fermentation.
