Sourish, earthy aroma with some cherries. Flavour has unusual amount of cherry for this beer. It has lors of very tonguedrying, sour cherries. Some oak notes too. Not the best batch of this beer I’ve tasted due to the overwhelming cherry and oak. But still good.

Bottle from 2007. Hazy dark red with small pink head. Flavour is cherries, malt, tart, funk, barnyard, little sweet, vinegar, berries, dry and citrus.

Vintage 2007. Cloudy dark red with a pink head. Aroma is sweet, cherries and rather sour - vinegar. Flavor is light sweet, rather sour and rather acidic. Bone dry and rather acidic finish. 020711

Wow! This has got to be the first Kriek I actually like! It’s very sour, but so pure. Not artificial or chemical sourness in the taste as is the problem with some other fruitbeers, lambics and krieken I’ve tasted. But pure sour. And that to me is a real surprise! Nice color, ok smell, nice taste, dry finish and a medium body en good carbonation. Very nice this one.

Cherry red colour. Sweet and then the sour kicks in. Hugely sour and chewy with a big wiff of spice. Not really my cup of tea though.

Got this from Savvy1982, thanks Kyle. Pours clear ruby with a large foamy pink head that fades fairly quickly. Aroma of cherry, sour and sweet, almost cheesecakey in quality. Taste has a nice amount of sourness with a dry finish. I love this stuff. I wish I had tons of different lambics to drink all day.

Tap @ Akkurat, Stockholm. Pours cloudy cherry red with a small creamy pink head leaving some lacing. Aroma is intense cherry, sour, malty, spicy and fresh. Flavor is acidy sour, very cherry, tart, dry, malty and spicy. Finishes very sour, tart abd pungeant.

375 mL bottle from Beers of Europe poured into an Affligem glass. A beer that you can ’hear’, the head is lively but soon disappears to leave a deep cherry red beer. Very nice cherry aroma. Has a cherry taste but also the sour lambic flavour to give it some kick.
