Aroma is musty and dry cherries. Pours a beautiful blush red with a huge, fizzy light pink head. Taste is mouth wateringly sour and dry cherries. So sour and good. This is the first Cantillon I’ve reviewed, but as always they rip tongue off with sour and make me want more.

Poured reddish pink, CO2, tart cherries, funky, little citrus, clean dry finish.

Bright red body with a huge pink head. Some lacing. Aroma is very sweet, like cherry syrup, with a bit of sourness. The sweet flavor explodes in your mouth, perhaps just a tad too much. This beer drinks very easily.

375 mL bottle purchased@Vinmonopolet, Vika. Tall airy red-shaded platina blond head, quickly shrinking to a thin layer of bubbles. Body is deep reddish-ruby, almost burgund, with good clarity. Smell of sour, extracted red berries. Very fresh and inviting. Taste is dry with a supersour cherry flavor. Quite vinous, with a vinegary touch. A true palate cleanser. Sour-acidic cherries linger in the finish. A quite demanding one, but utterly refreshing with an amazing fruit character.

This is sick! Damn, wtf I’m drinking! Extraordinary aroma, the sourness cover a great explosion of taste. Very good experience.

Smells of horse chestnuts and a farmyard. Deep cloudy dirty red colour. Tart, with some fence post notes. Sharp lemon flavours, hint of cherry. Quite Moorish but a bit one dimensional. Umm... it’s not unpleasant as such but, I can’t really see why anyone would actually go out of there way to drink this?

Nose of barn yard, yeast, lots of cherry, feel is wine, carb is fresh, taste is fresh cherries, sweet hops.

Bomber. Two year old bottle aged by the friend who split the bottle with me. Reddish, with an almost purple hue. The nose hits hard with a lot of soured fruit and alcohol. Flavor blasts the taste buds with sour, citrus, and a bit of a cherries. This sourness is almost exactly the same as multiple homebrews I’ve made lately that we’ve attributed to unwanted infection from some cleanliness issue. If this beer is supposedly "world-class", maybe we should throw some cherries into our next screw-up and sell it for a huge profit. I didn’t like my homebrew, and I didn’t enjoy this much more. Still, I’m glad to have tried it to know what great sour beers are supposed to taste like.
