Poured from bottle at home. Pours intense red with a pink head. Smells of fresh cherries. The taste is intense with cherry, a bit dry with medium carbonation. Really opened my eyes for krieks.

Poured at the end of our tour at the Cantillon’s braserie. Dark red with a small white head. Aroma is acidic and slight of cherries and oak. Taste is sour with natural cherries (no artificial flavours). Refreshing and enjoyable.

2013 375ml bottle procured by Buckeyeboy on his recent Belgian adventure... Shared tonight.. and I truly appreciate it. Short lasting lite pink head above an absolutely beautiful pink/lite orange brew. Reminds me of a very very pink champagne without all the bubbles. I honesty don’t even know where to begin on the aroma.. Musky cherries .. a little almond? lite leathery whiffs ... Wow... so very fresh. Flavor ... Funkadelic with cherry sour (but not acetic) flavors linger forever... again almonds. Nearly bone dry.. but the lack of sugar really makes everything run like a clock... fairly mouth-drying, but I like ... I like alot... the sourness sorta proactively sucks saliva from my body. I love the Cantillon Kriek and I am damn sure this is the "freshest" I have ever enjoyed one... Thanks again Jeremy!!

750 ml bottle to taster (shared by brew3crew). Looks. Good; a hazy pinkish orange with eggshell lacing. Smells of mild cherries, funk, and oak. Tastes like it smells with a nice tart mouthfeel. A nice lacto presence. Enjoyable.

Hazy pink leaning toward red pour with a fairly quick pink head that leaves a thin ring of lace. Lively sour cherries and barnyard on the nose with a light, dry wheat note and something oddly reminiscent of play doh. Clean and tart on the palate. The cherry flavour comes through in the most clean way I’ve ever experienced in a beer. There’s a nice funkiness as well. Although not as wildly interesting as the Lou Pepe series, this beer stands out for it’s drinkability while maintaining lots of sour funky character.
