Aroma intenso.

Barwa czerwona, klarowne, ogromne wysycenie. Piana drobna, niska, ale długa. W smaku świeżutkie, kwaśne, bardzo wiśniowe, mocno w styl. Goryczka odpowiednia.

This was a shared bottle at a tasting. Bright red color with a sweet and sour aroma. The taste was dry and extremely sour. Much like fermented pineapple and sour cherries bottled in vinegar. The finish was dryer than the start.

Bottle at a tasting at Butler's place. Chris brought this one. Wow pours a reddish pink with a very thin white head. Aroma is tart cherries. Really smooth. Incredibly dry. Clean finish. Really nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm.
Deep red body, with a medium, creamy, quickly dissipating, slightly pink head.
Aroma is sour, tart, with fresh cherries, sour fruits, barnyard, some barrel notes.
Taste is dry and very fresh, with about the same aromas.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a strong carbonation.
Finishes dry, sour fruity and tart.

Tasty! Fortunately almost no cherry sweetness, fresh, dry and complex. Greatly balanced. Simply an excellent, classic Kriek Lambic!

It is a shame that this is a brewery that is hard to find unless you live in Belgium. Fortunately, in my travels I was able to visit the brewery and it is the perfect setting for the ultimate and original lambics. I enjoyed them all, but this Kriek is done as Kreik’s are supposed to be...not sweet but complex and sour. Cantillon allows their sours to age properly to ferment out and that is where their wonderful, patient flavors come from. Yum!

Bottle to glass. Pours a beautiful rose light brown color with a fizzy light pinkish head. Aroma is dry, oak, light tartness, hint of cherries. Flavor has a huge cherry tartness to it. Oily body with a lingering cherry sour. Very tasty!
