3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 ReAle (120) - Rome, ITALY - NOV 5, 2010
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 kbutler1 (1078) - Minnesota, USA - NOV 1, 2010
Bottle. 2010 on the cork. Pours a nice ruby red color with a fluffy high carbonation white/pink head that quickly falls to a collar around the tulip glass. The aroma is a nice mixture between sweet cherry goodness, mild barnyard, medicinal, and sour/tart lemon. The taste is so nice. The cherries are there but not overly sweet but rather give a nice flavor to the otherwise tart/sourness of the beer. Some oak along with barnyard, the medicinal notes in the nose are pretty much nonexistant in the flavor to me. Light mouthfeel that finishes dryly.
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 wedgie9 (1362) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 30, 2010
Vintage 2008, tasted from a 750mL bottle purchased at Discount Liquor. Pours cloudy red with an average light pink head that recedes to light lace around the collar of the glass. The nose is super funky and sour cherry with light malt, yeast, and oak. The flavor is abrasively sour with funky and earthy cherries, some yeast, oak, and a light malt flavor. The body is light with light carbonation and a sour and funky cherry flavor that lasts forever. There is also considerable tannin in this beer as it dries the palate.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Hair6a11 (931) - Illinois, USA - OCT 26, 2010
Bottle: Pours an amazing cloudy red with pinkish head - big barnyard aromas with a hint of cherry. Flavors are an interesting mixture of Belgian yeasts or that typical funkiness, a bit of barnyard elements, bitter cherries, lemons, this brew is very tart, bitter, finishes dry at the end. Very nice -

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2011 Tasted from a 25.4 oz bottle purchased in Fort Collins, Colorado. Pours a strawberry red body with a soda-like head, quite carbonated. Classic sour cherry aroma. Cherry, acidic body with a dry finish. Quite tasty.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 phredrik (707) - Aalborg, DENMARK - OCT 23, 2010
Hazy red pour with a gorgeous pink head. The aroma reveals an extreme tartness, lots of cherries and berries, barnyard, just very fruity. Taste is tart, tart, tart cherries, raspberries, actually, oak, marzipan and just SO Cantillon in the sourness.
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Jaksmart (354) - Aalborg, DENMARK - OCT 23, 2010
Bottle. Deep, hazy, rosy red colour with a screamingly pink head. Aroma is extremely sour-ish, with sour cherries, strawberry, blueberry (perhaps) other sour berries, some faint leather. Taste is very, very sour, extremely fruity with lots of cherry and other sour berries. It is very puritan in its fruityness, insofar as there aren’t much of the usual leathery and barnyard-ish characteristics. They are there, yes, but not in any way dominant. Good stuff
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 beernbourbon (919) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 23, 2010
Tap. Pour is deep, cloudy cranberry-red color with a medium red-hued head. Aroma is lightly funky with notes of barnyard, berries, lambic sourness, and light malt. Flavor is very pleasantly tart with notes of cherry and significant barnyard funk capped with a crisp sour finish. This is a really tasty and easy to drink offering. Very good.
