UPDATED: APR 12, 2011 I had this at the brewery after the visit. Nice atmosphere and trying this one out... Body is deep red and has a one finger high pink head. Aroma is sweet and in the same way sour. Red fruits showing through in both aroma and taste. Has many dimensions.

Nose of fresh cherries but with attitude. Overpowering but in a way that feels good. Dark red with a very, very pink head that leaves you wanting more. Taste of sour cherries and it hits you in the face. The freshness masks a deeper truth of a cherry garden of eden. Something worth trying.

Draft at Fountainhead. Somehow, I hadn’t had this before... Anyway, pours shockingly red with a bright pastel pink head. Kinda girly looking ;) Nose is full of sweet baked cherry pie and Cantillon. Slight oaky notes as well. On taste, you know this is the real deal. Super tart and lactic. No vinegar notes, no artificial sweeteners, just a ton of tartness and cherry pie notes. Juicy. Fantastic.

4/30/10. (bottled February 26th, 2008). Small bottle into a wine glass. The aroma is funky Belgian lambic: farmhouse, roasted meats, cheese, and a dash of sour and and sweetness. The flavor is super sour up front and fades into sour cherries followed by nice Belgian funk and a hint of pie crust and spices. The flavor is better than the aroma. Typical high carbonation, dry feel.

750 ml bottle. Brownish red cloudy body with very small white head. Aroma if sour cherries, some caramel malts. Medium body with little carbonation. Very sour bitterness. Some fruity taste. Some vinegar and fruit mixed with battery acid - a good lambic. Can’t say that I discovered the cherry in taste, but some fruit anyway.

Bottle 0,75: Reddish power-kriek, intense sour in a well balanced overall. And ofcourse good fruity taste in the back.

Very active bubbles, light red and no head. aroma of apples and vinegar. Tart at first, citrus fruit comes at the back of the mouth and the whole flavour lingers impressively. Palate is chewy very drinkable.

Bottle, 75 cl, shared with friends. Beautiful natural reddish cherry colour. Taste is cherry and light sour, and so it goes with the taste, with the sourness not at all dominating however and giving the beer its specific good taste.
