5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20 godofsky (262) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 19, 2010
750ml bottle from Brouhaha brewpub. i have always wanted to try a real lambic, but wasn’t able to ever get my hands on one. i had never heard of this beer before the batender recommended me it. bottle was 3 years old, and 22 bucks!
the bottle has a cap, and then a cork. pretty cool. she served us this beer in tulip glasses. pours a deep, hazy red with a thin light pink head that quickly dissipates. the nose is just incredible. sour cherries dominate, but yeast is very noticeable too. taste is intense sour. i mean really sour! mouthfeel is light, and nicely carbonated. this was one of my most unique, and enjoyable beer experiences i have ever had. for that, i have to give this beer a pefect score. well worth the money i spent on it.

Bright ruby-pink color. Solid bubbly pink head. Interesting farmhouse aroma. Dry and light with (obviously) sour cherry tones.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 PolishHammer (124) - Norwalk, Connecticut, USA - MAR 6, 2010
Bright, cloudy and the color of strawberries. Aroma smells like a lambic, with a hint of sweetness. Taste is sour and a bit funky, from the wild fermentation. Cherries are barely distinguishable. Finshes sour and puckering. Head is very thin and tightly nit, dissapating quickly. Apple cider vinegar notes. A nice lambic, great with cheese!
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Nordcore (566) - Lyngen alps, NORWAY - MAR 1, 2010
Bottle. Dead red, clear with a small white head. Aroma; cherries with some sence of yeast. Flavor; Wow, very sour. So sour that I can not sence anything else. Not my kind of beer, but ok to have tried it....
4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 arminjewell (2445) - Parker, Colorado, USA - FEB 27, 2010
Pours deep red with off white head, aroma is huge funk with acid, cherry, vinegar, and some hay. Taste up front is the horse blanket, hay, and vinegar leading into a huge acid funk with a nice cherry flavor. Huge lasting sour flavor, awesome for a sour beer!
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 craftycarl21 (1590) - Washington DC, USA - FEB 27, 2010
Pours a dark hazy pink with minimal head. Aroma was brilliantly rude, with great sour cherry, musty hay, barnyard, and bracing acetic acidity. Flavor is excellent; starts with the kriek, then evolves into an awesome funky tartness. Rated it last night, so not my most verbose of ratings, but i remember the numbers, and it deserves it. Great lambic.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 WLG423 (167) - Connecticut, USA - FEB 26, 2010
Light cherry color. Aroma is sharp with a slightly tart note. Musty barnyard notes permeate though supplemented by tart fruit. Looks wonderful with light carbonation and a light bubbly mouthfeel. Flavor continues the earthy theme from the aroma. Complemented by notes of hay and more tart fruit. Finishes off with a nice pucker. Quite a tasty beer.

Nice, if not a little sour. Nice to have a Kriek that is not overly sweet though.
