At the brewery after the tour. Poured a cherry red and pretty clear, not much head. Aroma was fruity and heavily of cherry. Taste was cherry. Light body and fizzy on the mouth. Smooth throughout, a little dry to finish. Somewhat tart in there. Enjoyable.

UPDATED: NOV 8, 2014 Cherry red with a pink fluffy head. Taste is a very pleasant fresh cherry to cherry jam that becomes tart but not lip-puckering. Smell is cherry jam. Drank this on draft and loved it.

Sa sent le vieux grenier, les champs de céréale, la cave. La cerise aigre est plutôt en bouche. Délicieuses Kriek!!!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
(On tap at barVolo for Zwanze Day 2014, Sept 20 2014) Pours lightly hazy deep pink with a huge pale pink head. Aroma lots of sour cherry pie filling, lightly acidic with barrel hints. Flavour acidic, lightly lactic but not yoghurty, sour cherry strong at first but drying and more preserved cherry towards the finish. There is wood middle to end but not very funky per se. Light with moderate active carb. Very refreshing. Not the most complex lambic but it drinks very well nonetheless.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: NOV 25, 2014 Bottle, thanks to mcberko. From notes. Pours brilliant clear red-purple. Tons of cherry; vinegar; lemon juice; lemon drop; funk. Together it all feels strangely synthetic. More and more it’s got a menthol medicinal lozenge thing. I mention it to Eric who pops out a bag of cherry cough lozenges (with eucalyptus). I’m a serious drinker so I do a blind side-by-side. Cough drop is more solid; more redvine cherry, but the backup is similar. Can tell the kriek -- dirtier, funkier, liquid, but rather similar in a lot of other regards. Light body, slick texture.
Had this as part of a blind tasting, where it showed much better than this first bottle. 4.2 on the re-rate, 3.7 on the first -- I’ll split the difference.

Wonderful cherry color with a decent head for style. Aroma of sour cherries, tart and fresh. Taste tart and refreshing, with a strong sour cherry presence. Palate shows more of the "lambic" flavors. Very nice

750mL bottle pours a murky reddish purple with a quickly dissipating pink head. Mildly tart aroma woody oak and slight fruit. Lots of earthy oak in the taste tart and sour with some nice cherry. Dry and very nice!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
375ml bottle poured in a chalice.
A: Pours a deep cloudy ruby red color with a huge rose head. Head is aired and bubbled with a reasonable retention. Does not disappears completely and leave few lacings around
S: Pure Lambic: Delicious. Very fruity and with the traditional smell of Belgium Lambic yeasts
T: Follows the nose. Very cherry. Dry, tart and very very sour
M: Light body and high carbonation. Dry and sour
D: High. I use to be intolerant to wild and sour beers... I was wrong ;)
