Bottle 37,5 cl. Poured slightly hazy red in color with a frothy pink head. Sour apple, tart, barnyard, sweet cherries and sugar on the nose. Intense and lovely aroma. Sour apples, acid, vinegar in flavour, but probably not so much flavour as one would expect. Later on the flavours grow on you, nice combination of tart, vinegar and light hints of cherries. Solid quality from Cantillon.

L: pours a gorgeous ruby dark pink, big fizzy champagne head that vanishes, carbonation continues to surface. S: sour cherries, oak, grape and dark fruits in the background, a little funky. T: tartness, similar to the nose, delicious. F: puckering at the start, sensational balance, perfectly effervescent. Insanely drinkable. O: not usually my style but I can’t ignore how delicious and wonderfully crafted this beer is.

Draught. Clear, ruby-pink with pink head. In aroma lots of sour cherries, berries, there is of course funkiness, almond and some oak. Really great aroma. In taste medium sweet at first then sour cherries hits. The beer is packed with cherries! Low body, high carbonation, medium to high sour (but not vinegar style), dry. Very drinkable, refreshing. One of the best!

Bottle at Cantillon. Pour is rose/red with a medium pink head that fades into foam. Aroma and flavor of sour cherries, slight oak, and a bit of lemon. Finish is pure sour cherries. Good.

Ruby red color with a small pinkish head. Nose is packed with tart cherries, red currants, bit of brett funk and that cantillon special sourness. Flavour is spot on, cherries, lemon, tart berries, some cherrypie? Might be the malts. Anyways, super refreshing spot on kriek.
