2011 375ml bottle @ The Brickstore thanks to EricTeusink. And being my first Loon experience, I was not left dissapointed. Pours a light red color with thin off white head. Smell is tart berries, some woodiness, sharp citrus. Just smell the sour. Taste confirms the sharp biting tartness. TAcidic, fiercly sour cherries, cherry pit, a bit a of wood pokes through. Super dry. Not sure if this was the most sour beer I have had but it was up there. Memorable brew in a memorable setting. Great stuff.

Una birra sconvolgente! il colore rosato scuro è sovrastato da una schiuma rosastra effimera, prepotente ed esplosiva. Il profumo acido, a tratti sgradevole, sfida il bevitore all’assaggio, invitandolo però con note fruttate di ciliegia. in bocca esplode in modo unico, lasciando stupefatto anche il palato più allenato: acida, aggressiva, giovane e antica, ti respinge insinuandosi, e chiamando con prepotenza un altro, e un altro sorso ancora. Una birra diabolica, maledetta, che non berrò mai più. Dopo la prossima bottiglia! e la successiva. e le altre ancora!

Pours hazy red with low head. Aroma is natural cherry, some odd puke and red berries. Flavor is oakwood, cherries and red berries. Nice one!

Had diffrent years of the Kriek. 2000 are the best i’ve had so far. Great cherry taste.

Strange bottle with a cork AND a cap! Pink beer with a light pink layer of foam. Is has a sour aroma which slightly resembles rose-wine. It is a really, really sour beer. The aftertaste is slightly yeasty.
Aparte fles met zowel een kroonkurk als een gewone kurk. Roze kleurig bier met een lichtroze laag schuim. Het aroma is zuur en doet iets denken aan rosé wijn. De smaak is enorm, enorm zuur. De nasmaak is lichtzuur met de toets van gist.

Tap, vintage 2012. Color is hazy red with a large pink head. Aroma of cherry, yeast. Flavor is yeasty and fruity, nice cherry notes. Tart finish

Appearance: Clear red/amber with a small white head and good lacing
Aroma: Sour fruit, barnyard and dark cherries
Taste: Tart cherries, sour, vinegar and super dry

Bottle poured into glass. ruby red appearance with a lively pink head that dissipates quickly despite the lively carbonation. Smells tart with cherries and fruit. Taste is sour with some vinegar, cherry tart bitterness. Pretty high carbonation. Relatively dry and clean on the palate.

Poured from a 2007, 750ml bottle. Soft cherries on the aroma. Tasty, dusty, citrus, cherries, woody. A nice tart kriek.
