Aroma: Strong, sharp, sourish, lots of horse blanket and rotten cherries, yeast. Appearance: Light, clear red, foam quickly sparkling and disappearing Taste: classic lambic taste, heavy sour, lots of funky accents, specific tartness, really sour, cherries dominating the beer, not too complex. Bitter and fizzy finish. Overall: Cantillon at its (regular) best, nothing special but very classic and distinctive.

Bottle - Vintage 2013 - Nice sweet and sour cherry. Deep clear red with a decent white head. Deep cherry and nice tartness with a nice clean finish. It nearly as acidic and tart as it has been. Very nice.

Röd åt det ljusa hållet. Körsbär och röda bär i doft. Ganska lätt med en syrlighet på slutet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft in tumbler at Sovereign. Cloudy red with small pink head. Acidic and tart cherries on the nose, with some lite funk and yeast coming in. Great depth, fantastic funky cherry taste. Awesome.

750 mL bottle. 2008 bottle. Originally reviewed 9/1/2013. Light reddish body. Small white head. A few wisps. Nose has cherry and a ton of acidity. Little bit of hay. Some faint funk, but it’s there. Grain is strangely the first flavor. Then sour cherry. And I mean really sour cherry. Intense sourness of all kinds. Lactic and even some acetic acid. All other components are masked. Overly sour. Medium carbonation. Dry body. This is way too sour. Good otherwise.
