Beershine (1207), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 18, 2007 Updated: Jun 25, 2008 Draught and bottles. Bright garnet ruby-red. Desert dry. Surprisingly woodsy, almost earthy. Unearthly fruity, sour, and acidic qualities: everything that lambic should be. A relatively unassertive cherry presence that is overshadowed by the signature Cantillon lambic.
TaxiDriver (474), Stadland, Germany Aug 11, 2008 Bottle. Fruity smell of cherries, sweet and light acidic. Small fizzy pink head, fast and fully diminishing; a dark clear body. Heavy acidic taste, long duration. The beer is extremely dry with a medium body and a flat carbonation. Something really special! bboeckl (114), Grafton, Wisconsin, USA Aug 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours a strawberry red with a thin white head. Strong aroma of vinegar and wild berry. Taste is tart and fruity. Bit of a strawberry and kefir taste. Very potent flavors, tartness stings the tongue a bit. Incredibly complex offering. I like. DarkBeer (47), Ohio, USA Aug 6, 2008 Hazy red, lovely. Wonderful aroma. Tart body, with the sherries present but not ovewhelming, Brilliant aftertase. alexsdad06 (618), Ohio, USA Aug 4, 2008 750 ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy reddish color with no head. The aroma is tart cherries and perhaps a hint of citrus. The flavor is more tart cherries and general sout character. This was decent, but not one of my favorites. tjthresh (1275), Greenfield, Indiana, USA Jul 28, 2008 Pours bright red with very little white head. Aromas of tart cherries, with a bit a a yogurt character in the flavor. Medium body with high carbonation. Dry tart finish. One of my favorite lambics.
