Bottle 375ml. Aged 18 months piror to tasting. Poured dark muddy blood with a small, pink, frothy head which was mostly lasting. Aroma had almost perfume like characteristics with notes of roses, violets, crushed raspberries, sour cherries, wild yeast and salt water. Flavor was extremely tart with a massive acidic bite; gooseberry skins, sour cherries, red wine vinegar and light notes of oysters & salty brine. Medium bodied with lively carbonation, a dry/spritzig mouthfeel, ever-so slightly syrupy texture and a superb length finish. Amazingly delicate yet infinitely complex.

Bottle @ home. Hazy, cherry red. Pink tinged, white, fully diminishing head. Dark cherry. Cherry Lips sweets. Band Aid plasters. Taste is light tart. Cherry dry. Palate is tart, and light, vinegar sour. Finish is cherry dry, and light sour.

Aroma intenso.

Barwa czerwona, klarowne, ogromne wysycenie. Piana drobna, niska, ale długa. W smaku świeżutkie, kwaśne, bardzo wiśniowe, mocno w styl. Goryczka odpowiednia.

This was a shared bottle at a tasting. Bright red color with a sweet and sour aroma. The taste was dry and extremely sour. Much like fermented pineapple and sour cherries bottled in vinegar. The finish was dryer than the start.

Bottle at a tasting at Butler's place. Chris brought this one. Wow pours a reddish pink with a very thin white head. Aroma is tart cherries. Really smooth. Incredibly dry. Clean finish. Really nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm.
Deep red body, with a medium, creamy, quickly dissipating, slightly pink head.
Aroma is sour, tart, with fresh cherries, sour fruits, barnyard, some barrel notes.
Taste is dry and very fresh, with about the same aromas.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a strong carbonation.
Finishes dry, sour fruity and tart.

Tasty! Fortunately almost no cherry sweetness, fresh, dry and complex. Greatly balanced. Simply an excellent, classic Kriek Lambic!
