Nekronos (1893), Xalapa, Mexico Aug 28, 2008 Awesome, just lovely. Had it at GBBF 2008 and was a mearvel. A little too sour but never thought of non drinking it. EricE (225), Beltsville, Maryland, USA Aug 24, 2008 Deep ruby red pour with a slightly brown tint. Smells like vinegar with a bit of wood. Very sour. Ridiculous sourness-not for the faint of heart. Cherry flavor with a bit of bitterness. This stuff is like a punch in the face! fata2683 (86), APO, New York, USA Aug 21, 2008 The second offering after the brewery tour. This is a lovely pink/red color with a light pink head. Aroma is very nice. Smells like it’s going to be sweet but it isn’t. This is dry, andvery sour. More so than the geuze. Nice carbonation really carries well to the back of the tongue. This stuff is a treat. The fresh cherry tartness is the best part. You think you know what your going to get, but your pleasantly suprised when you find out your wrong. TaxiDriver (480), Stadland, Germany Aug 11, 2008 Bottle. Fruity smell of cherries, sweet and light acidic. Small fizzy pink head, fast and fully diminishing; a dark clear body. Heavy acidic taste, long duration. The beer is extremely dry with a medium body and a flat carbonation. Something really special! bboeckl (115), Grafton, Wisconsin, USA Aug 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours a strawberry red with a thin white head. Strong aroma of vinegar and wild berry. Taste is tart and fruity. Bit of a strawberry and kefir taste. Very potent flavors, tartness stings the tongue a bit. Incredibly complex offering. I like.
