1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
The worst beer I tried at Festival 2013, the low carbonation, heavy alcohol presence, weird sweetness, and barely apparent lambic quality made me really hate this beer. Ugh, why Jean why?!?

very barley wine like although there is a lot that reminds me of a cantillon geuze or lambic. its not sweet and still not sour so somewhere in between! Schizophrenic!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
@Quintessence - clear orange-red beer with no head retention; aroma of rhubarb and sour apples, light chewy nose; full-bodied, some sweetness below a decent sourness, some residual sweetness, sour fruits marmalade (pineapple and rhubarb)

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
@ Quintessence and last summer at home. It has developed since last year when it was way to thick and difficult to enjoy. Still heavy, musty with caramell, old highly concentrated apple juice and ripe fruits.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Copper-orange color, no head. Aromas of ripe, fermented fruits, grapes, apple, very sweet - no funky notes. Tastes sugary, toffeeish. Syrup, pine, unusual mild sourness, alcohol isn’t hidden at all. Not too easy to drink, no real depth, but lots of sugar. Still a very unique Lambic, which a subtle dryness in the end.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled at the Shelton Festival in Portland, ME, 2013. Pours nearly flat, translucent golden glow. Aroma of slight yeast, vegetal tones.. Tastes thick and somewhat "sweaty".. not overly viscous , hardly any sourness and very little acidity. Huge subdued funky body, very thin lacing, bitter taste **Revisited bottles in Stockholm and at Denver Ghost Tasting, all consistently underwhelming. I don’t necessarily see myself reaching for another pour, though it would be nice to try in a few years to see how things are developing.
