2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 RAYBOY01 (2005) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 3, 2005
Very intensely vinegary and very sour/tart. But the finish is extremely dry. Pronounced cut grass notes. I’d try it again.
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 dm9831 (1515) - Monee, Illinois, USA - JUL 4, 2005
the aroma had a slight vinegar, very winey quaility. it poured a cloudy apricot with a slight head that stuck to the side of the glass. less sour than many lambics, with a hint of fruit in all the mustiness. it drinks slightly oily. not a delight, but not offensive.
2.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 frankenkitty (1958) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - OCT 1, 2006
1998 Vintage. An extremely huge and fluffy head kept erupting from the recently opened bottle enticing me to try some. However, when it was poured, it revealed a musty barn floor and dung-like aroma. (<a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?UserID=5 sitting next to me at the bar, chuckled and mentioned how aromas like that can come from non-violent strains of the e-coli virus. Great.) Overall this was sour and dry with a gassy finish and I simply wanted to forget about it.

1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 LoveCaissa (873) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 8, 2004
Sampled in a beer tasting at Plan B, Copenhagen. Unique bottle from 1998. Again, this is just not my type of beer: terrible aroma and too acidic (sour!). Dry and with hints of lemon peel.
1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 3/20 Emil (6070) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 13, 2004
Copenhagen beer marathon 2004, Golden color, heavy sour fruity aroma and taste, full body, sour finish.
