On-tap at Churchill’s. Pours cloudy red with a fizzy pink head, no lcae. Smells sour and funky and fruity as well. Tastes sour and citrusy lemon with a constant mellow raspberry flavor. Not very sweet raspberry though, just raspberry. Funky sourness to it as well. Medium body, very dry, vibrant carbonation.

2001 Vintage Bottle. Thanks to BDR for sharing this. Cloudy, dark orange pour, little head, with visible milky sediment. Intense aroma of raspberry. Flavor is very tart, plenty of raspberry. Quite acidic. Excellent stuff!

2005 vintage shared by BrianK at Courtney’s BBQ. Pours a pink red puree with a white top. Raspberry, earthiness, funk, sour patch, lemon acidy. Incredible lambik. Went back for seconds and 3rds.

2001 vintage, bottled sample. Translucent pink-gold in colour, with spritzy carbonation. Aromas of raspberry, rose, funk, earth, and nettles. Flavors consist of more raspberry, lemon zest, and a bit of lactic funk on the finish. Wickedly acidic! It practically burned going down, but was so refreshing and tasty. Near perfect for someone like me who can’t get enough sour/acidic flavors. I’m going to need to track down more of this stuff.

(bottle sampled at Heritage Liquors tasting) Pours dark red with a white head. Aroma is very strong with raspberry, some hay, and funk which, aside from the raspberry, are all typical from Cantillon. The taste is also very typical of all Cantillon beers, with a large amount of upfront sourness, but there’s this very well done undertone of raspberry that really sets this beer at a level above other Cantillons I’ve tried. Medium mouthfeel with a lingering sour/raspberry seed finish.

Big Raspberry smell ....but wait! At first sip there is no raspberry, just a sharp sour funkiness then a mouthful pof fresh raspberries...very impressive!
