Rating 1700! Bottle - thanks again Adam! From my shiny new 3 Fonteinen tumbler, thanks for that too, Adam! Pours clear honey-gold, with a thin white head that laces really remarkably badly. Full disclosure: I LOVE Elderflowers! Nose is rosewater, lilac, lily, fresh ginger, orange blossom, apricot, elderflowers... Such an amazing nose. I thought that a big, brash, lambic like Cantillon would disrupt the elderflowers, but nothing could be further from the truth! Flavours of peardrop, flowers, rosewater, Thai basil, salt, still quite juicy. Just delicious!

Draft. Pour is hazy orange, minimal head. Earthy, dank, and floral on the nose. Taste is tart and floral, with the elderberries just adding a unique tinge to the palette. Very nice lambic.

Tap at Scheras Zwanze day. Pours gold with minimal head. Smells of floral and barnyard funk. Taste of spice and sour pucker. Solid beer...would like to try again.

Been somewhat of a whale to me. Been wanting this for a hell of a long time. Usually you get disapointed when having big expectations like that. This one did not disapoint. A beer that has everything. The tarty barnyard stableboy combined with the complex yet balanced taste of the elderflower. Try masterpiece from cantillon

Beautiful hazy cobber with dense white head. Aroma is loads of elder flower and stinging netle. Fruity and sour palate. Aftertaste is nestle, fruit, funk and dry stinging netle. Overall: a real wow beer!

On tap at Erzbierschof for Zwanze Day 2014. Hazy orange color with medium head. Elderflower, elderflower, more elderflower in the aroma. The elderflower dominates, but there’s a bit of tart balance noticeable, less than for other fruit lambics though. Taste is more complex than expected - mostly changes back and forth between tartness and elderflowers. Not too complex finish.

750ml bottle, just over a year old. Pours out clear golden with a white head. Aroma is strangely vegetal at first, then opens up with lemon, floral notes, melon rind and leather. Lots going on beyond elderflower it would seem. Taste feels almost as complex, and elderflower is more prominent. Really well poised mouthfeel. Body is particularly robust and sourness is dialled in just right. On this evidence I’d say that Mamouche definitely doesn’t deserve to be the forgotten beer in Cantillon’s line up.

Oh how wonderfull this was. Poured light orange with minimal head. Aroma of lemon tartness and such a great herbal character which made this unique and fantastic. Such a wondeful flavor of funk yeast butter and tart dry finish. A++++
