’06 vintage shared at Olutravintola Pikkulintu. Cloudy yellow pour with a white head. Beautiful barnyard and funk aromas. Sour and acidic with just the right amount of funk and wet hay notes. Complex with a great mouthfeel, good carbonation, and body. Another stunner from Cantillon.....

Bottle shared at Pikkulintu in July of 2011, from notes. Pour is light yellow with a tight head. Nose is singular, brett dustiness and mushroom funk with a faint note of lemon. Taste is similar, dusty brett, less mushroom and a bit of acetic acid. Moderately sour and a bit biting with a light body and fairly tart.

2004 brewed, bottled in 2006... perfectly aged for my Cantillon, tasted like a really nice gueuze, barnyard, oak, super easy to drink, quite a treat

Bottle @ Olutravintola Pikkulintu. Citrus, barnyard, wood, berries and funkiness. Almost not tart enough, but refreshing.

Huge thanks to Mike for sharing this. Thank you thank you thank you. Hazy light orange body, thin white head. Nose is lemon, wood, cantillon house character, unrip/tart blueberry. Flavor is woody, lemony, unripe berry, funk/basement. A big sourness comes up right before the finish but fades into a nicely balanced ending. Great lingering unripe blueberry.

Bottle from the eponymous location. Poured a murky golden. Barnyard, berries, and sourness on the nose. Tastes a restrained tartness in comparison with Cantillon’s other gueuzes, ie only slightly mouthwatering.

Bottle at pikkulintu, helsinki. Flat, cidery golden pour. Aroma of medium earhy funkn barnyard, wet hay. Flvor is more potent than aroma but def more subdued than the majority of gueuze’s I’ve encountered. A very drinkable gueuze. Flavor quickly leaves palate unlike some amazingly tart gueuzes in the past. Almost a gueuze with training wheels.
