May 19, 2007 Trade from Ross. Pours a hazy peach color. Aroma is of must, barnyard, light rasberry and vinuous notes. Taste is very sour(duh.), with light rasberry, must and woods noses. Light carbonation with slight dry finish. Another fine Cantillon.

May 19, 2007 Updated: Jul 14, 2008Bottle (75 cl) from Systembolaget. Hazy deep red, medium shortlived fizzy pink head. Cidery aroma of apples and fresh raspberries, some wooden notes in the background. medium bodied, prickly carbonation. Extremely sour, hard to finish even half a bottle.

Dark red color, light pink head. Aroma: sour, this is really a perfect kriek, sweet, berryish, wonderful. Medium body. .
Taste great sourness, almost sweet in it’s body, dry.

May 18, 2007 Københavnske Øldage 07. It’s with fear mixed with a secret joy, that I have this sample. The beer is brown-orange-golden and both aroma and flavour are as expected extremely sour, tart and vinegar like. There isn’t much trace of raspberry, it’s more like a periphery shade in the flavour. I’m not in doubt that this is a big beer in many ways, but I once again have to resign to Cantillion and simply accept, that I not yet anyhow - am hardcore enough to enjoy their beers... 2139

May 8, 2007 Medium pink head. Dark pink body. Sharpish raspberry aroma with notes of other fruits and light wooden metal notes. Intensely sour raspberry taste with notes of other berries. Somewhat bitter. Dries out the mouth. Dry, sour, wooden, lemony aftertaste. Quite nice. (0.375l bottle.)

May 7, 2007 Updated: Oct 1, 2008Brux 07. Tasting at the brewery. Pours an almost clear warm red with a small pink head. Smells a bit of sulphur. Very citric with aromas of rasberry and a hint of cherries and minerals. Light bodied. Metallic finish.

May 6, 2007 12 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquor - Pours a hazy copper color with a fizzy one finger thick light pink head. No lacing. Aroma is raspberries, yeast, and a wiff of vinegar. Flavor is very tart with a touch of berries. Light to medium body. Don’t think I’ll be able to finish this one. Lambics are not my cup of tea.

Apr 20, 2007 Bottle. Pours a nice rosé colour. Aroma is fresh, sour and fruity. The flavour is quite sour, bit sweet, bit yeasty. Sour dry finish. Great lambic!
